I'll have a McCain, with room for cream, please.

There are few things I enjoy more in the morning then a large hot cup of coffee. 7-11 is a great, cheap alternative to Starbucks and with usually less of a wait, too. On one particular morning this week, I walk in to find these cups. Now, maybe on all other visits to 7-11 I either have grabbed the "regular" cups, or they have just been out of these very political ones. I find that even placing bumper stickers for your vote on your car ridiculous. I understand the whole freedom of expression/speech/etc, but honestly, take it to the polls - don't try and change our vote by placing some sticky-back piece of political propaganda on your car. But on my coffee? That's just downright wrong. Don't make my coffee cup a billboard. I like my coffee in a paper cup with little, or no, writing on it. But, with that being said, I still picked the Red McCain cup. It went better with my outfit.

The day two (names) became one

October 4, 2008 was the day we were married surrounded by all of our wonderful friends and family. We know the day went by fast, but we truly enjoyed every moment of the event, especially the very touching speeches! Bryant and I are so lucky to have people love us enough to stand up in front of a crowd and give their tributes. (And double as lucky for the love of those that had it in their heart to talk, but just couldn't get the words out!)

Here are some candid pictures from our wedding:

A new begining

As Bryant and I take our first few steps into married life, we wanted to create something that resembles our new lives together as Mr. & Mrs. This blog is an attempt to move away from the overcrowed, ever-popular MySpace and start looking at other outlets in which to express our creative sides. We hope, through this, that we can keep up with the everyday life of those we love dearly but who are not right around the corner anymore. I really have to thank Melynda for turning us onto this blog ~ what a wonderful way to keep us all connected!
